Windsor Police are investigation an assault.

Police say that around 11pm Wednesday they were called to the area of Wyandotte Street and Drouillard Road for an assault that just occurred.

Police met with a 41-year-old female victim with a bloody nose and scrapes and scratches to her back. She told police that she met a male in the area of Albert Road and Edna Street. The two walked together and at some point ended up in the brush area just east of Drouillard Road, south of Wyandotte just south of the train tracks. At some point the male suspect allegedly assaulted the victim.

She was transported to hospital where she received treatment for her injuries and was subsequently released.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’7, in his late 20’s or early 30’s. He had short sandy brown hair and was wearing an orange or green t-shirt, baggy camouflage shorts and a superman tattoo on his calf.
