Windsor Fire say their investigation is complete into a fire in an apartment building located in the 1200 block of Wyandotte Street East.

The fire broke out Saturday around 2:30pm. When crews arrived there was flames and smoke coming from a window of an apartment on the second floor, over top of a business. They had it under control within minutes.

No one was home at the time of the fire, and there are no injuries. Firefighters rescued three cats from the building.

After initial inspection the fire was deemed to be suspicious in nature and appeared to be intentionally set.

Fire officials say that the building is not habitable.

Damage is set at $300,000.
