Police have identified a man found dead on a trail near the WFCU Centre back in March.

The man had been found near Little River Road and Riverdale Avenue, north of McHugh Street along the trail near the WFCU Centre.

Police said the death wasn’t suspicious and there were no signs of foul play.

Police asked for the public’s assistance in identifying him through the media and social media with sketches and photos.

Officers received a tip from the public on the possible identity of the man who was believed to be a tenant in an apartment building in east Windsor.

Detectives found ID and forensic evidence at the man’s apartment that helped to confirm his identity. Detectives also worked with the Coroner’s office and further confirmed the male’s identity through dental comparisons.

Police notified the man’s next of kin from the United States and will not be releasing his name out of respect for the family.
