The start of something new sparked in the minds of president Kim Spirou and fellow members as she introduced “Charity Chix;” a organization supporting charitable causes locally and around the globe.

Thursday night, a fashion show was held entitled “Chic @ The City” that raised funds aiding Rotary – an universal organization, founding over 34,282 clubs worldwide – and it’s up and coming mission to Ghana, Africa. The event also benefited the John McGivney Centre for it’s local programs, and allocated funds internationally for items like school supples, and malaria prevention nets.

The stylish fashions varied from boutiques across Windsor and Essex county, and a ticket to the show included gourmet appetizers, champagne, access to plenty silent auctioned items, and lots of fun.
