LaSalle Holding Grand Opening For New Municipal Facilities

The Town of LaSalle will be hosting a Grand Opening and Town Celebration Day this Sunday to mark the completion of the building of all of the new municipal facilities.

The day will feature tours at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex, Public Works, Fire Station, Police Station and LaSalle Civic Centre.

Family activities include entertainment food, prizes and. children’s activities. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony in council chambers at 1:30pm, a puppet show at the LaSalle library at 2:30pm, and a raffle draw at the Civic Centre at 3:45pm.

The Grand Opening runs from 1pm to 4pm. Visitors are encouraged to park at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex and catch the Hop On Hop Off Trolley to visit each site.

For every canned good or $1 donated to the LaSalle Food Bank, visitors will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win some great prizes.
