Five people face charges after a drug bust in Chatham.

Late Wednesday night, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence, with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response Team, executed a search warrant on Merritt Avenue in Chatham.

Five people as well as a small amount of methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia were located inside the residence.

A 46-year-old Chatham man was charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking. He was released pending a future court date of June 4th, 2015.

A 35-year-old Chatham man was charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. He was released pending a future court date of June 4th, 2015.

A 24-year-old Chatham woman was charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking. She was released pending a future court date of June 4th, 2015.

An 18-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking and two counts of failing to comply with his release conditions. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

A 17-year-old Chatham girl was charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking. She was released pending a future court date of June 8th, 2015.
