For the second time in a week, police are asking for the public’s help to identify another man who tried stealing groceries from a store.

On Saturday April 25th, police were called to Zehrs at Tecumseh and Lauzon. Officers were told that the male suspect exited the grocery store with a cart full of groceries without making any attempt to pay. He was approached by security after leaving the store in an attempt to arrest him for theft. The suspect abandoned the cart of groceries and fled the scene.

Earlier this week, police put out a call to the public for help identifying a different man who had allegedly tried to steal food from three grocery stores.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Windsor Police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4305, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS), or online at www.catchcrooks.com.
