A proposed new branch of the Windsor Public Library at Devonshire Mall will not be moving forward in the near future.
The idea of a library at the mall was first proposed by then Mayor Eddie Francis in November of 2013. Since then library staff have worked with Devonshire Mall management to find space that was approximately 2,000 square feet.
Library management says that despite protracted discussions with the mall management, there are no leasing opportunities available for them in the foreseeable future at the mall.
