Windsor police are looking to the public to help identity a suspect involved in an assault.

Police say that around 1:15am on Thursday April 2nd they were called to the 4000 block of Seminole Street.

Police found EMS treating a 25-year-old victim, who was bleeding from the face. The victim was transported to hospital by ambulance. The victim underwent surgery due to a skull fracture and a “brain bleed”.  He also suffered a swollen left eye and bruising on his chest.

The assault was captured on video from a nearby business, and shows that the victim was beat with what appears to be a bat or club. Additional security video from a second business shows the suspects walking away after the assault. One suspect appears to be carrying a bat, while the second suspect appears to be carrying a section of pipe.

Police were able to identify one of the suspects in the video and on Tuesday April 7, 2015 at approximately 9:40 a.m. the identified suspect turned himself at Windsor Police Headquarters

Kennon Ball age 42 years of age from Windsor has been charged with Aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

The second suspect, who is shown in the video remains outstanding. Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to call police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4830, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS), or online at www.catchcrooks.com.

The victim remains in hospital with serious injuries.
