Windsor Police are crediting the help of a customs officer at the tunnel for the arrest of a man who allegedly robbed Tim Hortons.

Just before 6:30am Friday, the suspect entered the Tim Hortons at Goyeau and Park, approached the counter and allegedly demanded money.

Police say the suspect left with a small quantity of cash and was last seen running east on Park Street.

A witness pointed out the suspect to an officer of the Canada Border Services Agency who kept an eye on the suspect.

Police met up with the CBSA officer and they located the suspect a short distance away.

A Windsor Police officer ordered the suspect to the ground and the CBSA officer secured the suspect.

Brandon Nunn, 24, is charged with robbery. Police say the stolen money was recovered.
