A 49-year-old Chatham man has been charged after allegedly making threats against Parliament Hill.

On April 10th, 2015, Chatham-Kent Police were contacted by the RCMP to follow up with an incident.

Police say that a Chatham man had placed a telephone call to the Library of Parliament, stating that he wanted to blow up Parliament, as part of a revolution against Parliament Hill.

David Osterbrook remains in custody and is remanded until Monday, April 13th, 2015, for a bail hearing.

He has been charged with a terrorist activity hoax and uttering threats.
