One person has been charged after he was busted breaking into parked cars.

Police say that around 2am this morning, officers were on general patrol in the area of Giles Boulevard and Windsor Avenue when they saw brake lights of a vehicle within a parking lot flashing repeatedly and a male inside.

Police stopped the male and found that he was not the owner of the vehicle and he had no lawful authority to be inside.  Officers also learned that the male had an outstanding warrant and he was subsequently placed under arrest.

Police also recovered 2 GPS devices and other property found in bags near the male.

Investigation revealed that at least 3 other vehicles were broken into and most of the property was returned.

Vasilios Yannacopoulos a 29-year-old male of Windsor is charged with two counts of  theft under,  two counts of possession of stolen property, and an outstanding warrant.
