A Windsor man has been arrested after police seized drugs and several firearms.

Police say that thy were called to Walker Road and Somme Avenue around 11:50am Sunday morning for a report of a vehicle blocking a lane of traffic.

When police arrived they found a man inside of the vehicle. Police also received information that the man had a firearm and the vehicle was allegedly used in an attempted theft at a Canadian Tire on Walker Road.

The man was arrested and police found a small amount of methamphetamine, along with two air pistols and a paintball gun.

24-year-old Jacob Cazes of Windsor is charged with possession of methamphetamine and 15 counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited.
