Two people are facing charges after OPP discovered pot plants being cultivated in Lakeshore.

OPP say that on April 23rd, 2015  they executed a search warrant at a rural farm property located in the 21000 block of County Road 46 in Lakeshore.

Police seized a quantity of harvested cannabis marihuana, a large number of cannabis marihuana plants in various stages of growth; several items of suspected stolen property; as well as numerous items of property associated to the indoor growing of cannabis marihuana.

They say the street value of the marihuana, marihuana plants and property seized is estimated as being between $60,000 – $75,000.

A 49-year-old Lakeshore resident has been charged with possession and production of controlled substance. A 43-year-old Chatham man has been charged with possession.
