A Kingsville man is charged after he allegedly left the scene of an accident.

OPP say that around 1am on march 29th, they were called to an accident on Queen Street involving a parked vehicle.

The suspect vehicle, a silver Pontiac, left the scene with extensive front end damage, but police were able to locate it a short distance from the crash scene.

The driver of the Pontiac suffered minor injuries and exhibited signs of impairment.

He was arrested at the scene.

Police have charged 30-year-old Casey Blokker with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, exceed 80 milligrams blood alcohol content and fail to stop at scene of an accident.

He will appear in Windsor court on April 14th, 2015.
