Windsor police are investigating a downtown Windsor Stabbing.

Police say that around 2:30am Sunday morning police officers were in the area of the 300 block of Ouellette Avenue when they learned that a male had been stabbed.

Officers located a 19-year-old male victim who suffered a stab wound to the stomach area.

Police say that their investigation revealed that the victim was involved in an altercation with another male and at some point it is alleged that the suspect male stabbed the victim in the stomach.

The victim was transported to hospital and his injury is considered non-life threatening.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s, 6’2-6’3. He was wearing a long sleeve burgundy shirt and jeans.
