Spitfires To Host Subway Super Series Game

The Windsor Spitfires have been chosen to host Game 4 of the Subway Super Series at the WFCU Centre on Monday November 16th.  In total, there is six Canadian host centres for the series that will be played November 9th to 19th, 2015.

“The historic on-ice rivalry between Canada and Russia continues to feature some of ourgame’s most exciting moments,” said CHL President David Branch. “We look forward to bringing the Subway Super Series to CHL communities for the 13th straight season next November.”

Windsor last played host in 2009, when Spitfires star Taylor Hall scored a goal and an assist as player of the game for Team OHL in a 5-2 victory.

“We’re thrilled to have the SUBWAY ® Super Series back in Windsor,” said Spitfires President and Head Coach Bob Boughner. “It’s a great chance for our fans to see some of the best young players in the world showcase their skills.”
