Both Sides In The CCAC Strike Meet Thursday

Both sides in the Community Care Access Workers strike are reported to be meeting on Thursday in Toronto.

According to the Canadian Federation of Nurses Union, the Ministry of Labour has ordered the employers of the Ontario Nurses’ Association members who work for the Community Care Access Centres back to the negotiating table.

Close to 3,000 Community Care Access Workers have been on the picket line since January 30th across Ontario.

Those include registered nurses, nurse practitioners, registered practical nurses, social workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and allied health professionals.
