Police in Belle River are investigating after a Sunday night convenience store robbery.

At around 10:45pm, a man entered the store in the 400 block of Notre Dame Street. The man took out a weapon and demanded that the victim open the till and give the suspect money. The suspect received an undisclosed sum and exited the store.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’7” – 5’8”, 140 – 150 pounds, average to thin build, wearing a black jacket, black pants, black running shoes with white soles and laces, black gloves and a black balaclava covering his face.
