Police are investigating after a man robbed a west end Mac’s Milk store and pointed a spear at the clerk.

The suspect entered the store on Mill Street around 11:45pm Tuesday, produced a spear-like weapon and demanded money from the register. The suspect left with a small quantity of cash and a children’s charitable donations box that was on the counter.

The suspect is described as male, 170-180lbs, 5’7″-5’10 with a medium build, wearing a black hoodie, dark pants, white running shoes and a bandana covering his face. The suspect also had a black knapsack.
