Windsor Police have arrested a man they say was responsible for robbing a Mac’s convenience store with a spear.

The man was arrested in an unrelated incident after someone saw him and another suspect allegedly breaking into cars on Lauzon Road.

During a search of the suspects officers located a three-foot long tree branch with a seven-inch knife taped to the top, similar to a spear.

Windsor Police detectives learned that the male matched the description of the suspect in the robbery of Mac’s on Mill Street earlier this month.

Christopher Urquhart, 22, is charged with Robbery with a Weapon, Utter Threats, Commit an Indictable Offence with a Face Mask, Possess Weapon for Committing an Offence and Mischief under.

A 21 year old male from Windsor is charged with Carry a Concealed Weapon.
