Another arson in the city.

On Monday December 15th, 2014 at approximately 9:40pm Windsor Police were called to the 800 block of Wyandotte Street East by Windsor Fire for a arson investigation.

Police say that their investigation has revealed that a suspect brought a black and grey backpack to a common washroom and ignited it. A working smoke detector alerted a resident who attended the washroom and was able to extinguish the backpack.

A person of interest was observed in the washroom prior to the incident. He is described as a white male approximately 6’2″ with a muscular build wearing a green hooded jacket down to the knee, and black pants.

Recovered inside the backpack was a new CN Holiday Train baseball cap. The CN Holiday Train attended Windsor on Tuesday December 2nd, 2014.
