Police are investigating after two convenience stores were robbed at knifepoint on Monday and Tuesday.

On Monday around 7:15pm Windsor Police were dispatched to a report of a Robbery that just occurred at the Macs convenience store located in the 3800 block of Dougall Avenue. Officers attended and spoke to an employee at the store. Investigation revealed that a suspect entered the store with his face concealed with a hat and a scarf. The suspect approached the counter while holding a small knife and demanded cash. He then quickly left the store with a small quantity of cash.

The suspect was a white male, 30 years, 5’6, medium build, wearing a tan jacket with a hood, baseball hat, gray scarf, gray pants and brown hiking shoes.

Then on Tuesday at 9:30pm, Windsor Police were dispatched to a reported robbery that just occurred at the Petro Canada Gas Station located in the 1100 block of Tecumseh Road East.

Investigation revealed that 2 suspects entered the store and approached the counter. Both suspects had their face concealed by clothing. A female suspect approached the counter on the customer side and the male suspect walked around the counter holding a small knife and demanded cash. The suspects left the store with a small quantity of cash.

The male suspect was white, 5’7, wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants and boots, and a gray scarf.

The female suspect was 5’2, wearing dark blue hooded coat, gray jogging pants and white shoes.

Crime Stoppers have released security video of the Monday robbery.
