Windsor Police are looking for witnesses after a hit and run accident that happened around 6:50pm Friday in the 4300 block of North Service Road East.

Police say that a dark Pontiac G5/G6 clipped a pedestrian walking east on the shoulder and then took off. The passenger side mirror of the vehicle was recovered at the scene.

There was also a gray Dodge Charger following behind the darker Pontiac G5/G6 while they were both eastbound on North Service Road East. The suspect vehicle was followed from the accident scene to Jefferson Boulevard where it then turned northbound and then westbound on Queen Elizabeth Drive where it was lost.

Police are looking for the driver of the gray Charger or any members of the public to come forward to assist with identifying the dark Pontiac G5/G6.
