Windsor Police are piecing together clues after gunshots were possibly fired in West Windsor.

Around 1:45am Sunday, officers were called to the area of Wyandotte Street West and Wellington Avenue.

Police say several possible gunshots were heard over the phone by dispatchers and by officers heading to the location.

Witnesses told officers they observed an altercation with a group of people and heard possible gunshots.

Officers conducted an extensive search in the area but were unable to find any evidence of a shooting.
