This Saturday is the Leamington Light Up The Night Parade.

The parade begins at 6pm at Georgia & Erie Street heading north to Wilkinson Street and finishes by entering into the fairgrounds.

Leamington remains one of few municipalities who still organize their own community parade.

“We’re proud to be able to organize our own parade and make it uniquely our own,” says Wendy Parsons, Leamington District Chamber of Commerce General Manager. “Our volunteers and participants do a fantastic job, they put so much effort into Lighting Up Leamington! When Santa passes the library, he lights up the trees there and then as he goes by the stage, across from town hall, the town tree is lite and a small firework display takes place.”
