Police need help identifying a man who allegedly stole around $1500 worth of gum from a convenience store.

Police were called earlier this month to the 7/11 at Wyandotte and Langlois after a reported theft of 11 boxes of gum worth $300 from the store.

Police say the suspect was caught on video surveillance.

Investigators revealed that the same suspect was involved in a string of several thefts at this store and two others over the course of a two week period.

In each incident the suspect allegedly stole numerous boxes of gum by placing it in his back pack and walking out without making any attempt to pay.

In total it is estimated that the suspect had stolen over $1500 worth of gum over the course of two weeks, say police.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Windsor Police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4305, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS), online at www.catchcrooks.com.
