Western Pumpkinfest Is This Weekend

Western Secondary School Pumpkinfest returns this weekend.

The vendors list features a variety of hand-made crafts and includes baked goods, baskets, birdhouses, candles, dolls, fragrances, pet treats, soaps and many other baubles.

In addition, there will also be be live music, raffles and for the kids, a colouring contest.  There is a “Kiddie Room” with children’ activities while visitors browse and lots of free parking is available.

This event is free with the donation of a canned good to support the local food bank.

Western Secondary School hospitality students will also be preparing full breakfast and lunch menus for event goers. Proceeds from Pumpkinfest will support student activities.

The fun runs both Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.  More information can be found on their website.
