The Salvation Army’s Annual Christmas Kettle Campaign, which begins November 20th, is in need of volunteers.
This Christmas season the red kettles will be placed at 19 retail locations throughout the City of Windsor until December 24th. Volunteers are needed to stand by the kettles to greet shoppers and accept donations with a smile.
Windsorites looking to help spread some Christmas cheer can sign-up to volunteer for a three hour shift at www.WindsorChristmasKettles.ca or by calling the Kettle Hotline 519-971-5878.
The kettle campaign is the largest single fundraiser for The Salvation Army. This year’s target is $240,000, same as last year.
The annual Christmas Kettle Campaign supports our Community & Family Services, not just a Christmas, but throughout the New Year. All money raised in Windsor stays in Windsor.
