Sponsorship Lets Local Kids Get Involved With After School Program

Junior Achievement of South Western Ontario received sponsorship support from Great West Life Assurance Company as a second sponsor supporting the signature After-School Company Program, which are being re-introduced to the Windsor-Essex community this October.

JA’s Windsor-Essex Company Program was previously one of the strongest and most popular programs, with deep roots and a reputable history in the community. After being absent for over 7 years, Junior Achievement has brought programs back to the Windsor Essex area, and is now truly excited to re-introduce the After School Company Program.

The new sponsorship will enable a group of 25 to 30 high school students from Windsor-Essex to participate free of charge. As a team, these students will take part in a 20-week program, where they will be tasked to come up with a viable product idea for the community and will work together to bring the product to market.
