Police are investigating after a man pulled a gun on a Prince Road convenience store clerk and made off with cash.

Officers were called to the store in the 1300 block just before 8:30am, Thursday morning.

The man was seen pointing the gun at the clerk several times while instructing them to put money in a plastic bag.

The man then fired the gun into the ceiling.

He then reached over the counter, grabbed the cash drawer and emptied it into his bag before leaving the store.

Officers found a dent in the ceiling and a pellet on the floor.

The suspect is described as a white or arabic male, approximately 20 years old, 5’6″ tall, 150 – 160 lbs., slender build, brown eyes, brown hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up covering his mouth.
