OPP are looking for the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle that left the scene of a crash involving a E-bike Friday evening.

Police say the accident happened at approximately 9:45pm when a black e-bike that was travelling eastbound on Essex County Road 20 in Harrow was struck from behind by a vehicle.

The suspect vehicle did not stop and continued eastbound towards Harrow.

The suspect vehicle is described as a full size sedan, light in colour, possibly gold or beige and appeared to be newer with a square back end.

Police say that it is highly likely that the suspect vehicle sustained front end damage as a result of the crash.

The driver of the e-bike was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are asking the public to contact the OPP Communication Centre at 1-888-310-1122 if you witnessed this crash or have any information pertaining to this incident.
