Police conducted this high risk vehicle stop at Kildare and Ottawa

Windsor Police have arrested three people allegedly in relation to Monday’s shooting on Drouillard Road.

Police conducted a high risk vehicle stop of a red Pontiac car at Kildare and Ottawa Street around 2pm Tuesday and seized a loaded SCCY 9mm pistol. Three people in the vehicle were arrested.

Steven Atkinson, 34, and Jordane Mootoosamy, 21, were arrested along with a 17-year-old young person from Toronto who can not be named.

Atkinson is charged with possession of a prohibited firearm with no licence, two counts of failure to comply with conditions of a judicial release, breach of probation and two counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited.

Mootoosamy is charged with possession of a prohibited firearm with no licence.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to call.
