Chatham-Kent police continue to investigate an early morning accident in Chatham.

Police say that around 6am male cyclist was found lying on the gravel shoulder of the roadway. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance by ambulance and later airlifted to a Windsor Hospital with serious injuries.

Police would like to speak with anyone who was travelling on Park Avenue East this morning around the time of the incident.
