The 4th Annual Wheels on Wyandotte Car & Motorcycle show takes place this Saturday in the 5400 to 5900 blocks of Wyandotte Street East. This section of Wyandotte will be closed to all traffic from 8:30am to 4pm.

Drivers are invited to bring their cars for registration starting at 10am to 1pm at St. Louis & Wyandotte (entrance off Ontario Street), and the car show runs until 4pm.

There will be cash prizes and trophies for the top three cars as selected by the viewing public. The first 100 drivers to register will receive a dash plaque. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the afternoon, and in addition you will also receive a matted photo of you and your car to be taken by an on site photography and ready before you leave.

There will also be a Pet Contest, with awards for both Best Costume and Musical sit. There is no entry fee and registration will commence at 1pm and the Pet Events will start at approximately 2pm.

A Silent Auction will also take place with items including Windsor Spitfires Box for 14 people with 2 VIP parking passes and a $100 food voucher (donated by Riverside Sports Association); a $400 Gas Card (donated by Olde Riverside Town Centre Business Association); two Adult Bicycles with helmets (donated by Windsor Police Services Community Services); an indoor BBQ (donated by Windsor Police Services Community Services) and more.

There will also be sidewalk sales, face painting for the kids and more.

Windsor Police Services Camp Brombal will be the recipient of all proceeds from this year’s event. Camp Brombal gives some young people, who would not otherwise be able to, the experience of a week at camp with activities, fun, friendship and learning.
