Police are trying to piece together clues after a woman was hit by a bullet at a home in Tecumseh, early Wednesday morning.

Police were called to the 1700 block of Manning around 12:45am and learned that someone fired shots at the home from the outside. Police say two vehicles were involved.

A 31-year-old female victim inside the home was struck by an apparent bullet and rushed to hospital. Her injuries are described as non-life-threatening at this time.

Manning Road was closed for around 4 hours while the OPP Crime Unit investigated.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have information into this incident. Police encourage citizens to report any suspicious persons or activity in the area immediately.

The vehicles involved are described as a black Lexus SUV and a silver/gray car.

Police are looking to identify a suspect who is described as a white male, medium build, late 30’s, no facial hair, 5’8 to 5’10 feet tall, and a chubby face. The male was described as wearing a red t- shirt.
