Organizer Bianca Betschel poses inside a Ford pick-up

Junior Achievement and Performance Ford Lincoln brought together the Drive 4 UR Community event on Saturday and organizers say they’ve raised plenty of funds to reach more youth in the community with business education programs.

For every person who test drove a Ford vehicle at the event, Performance Ford Lincoln and Ford of Canada donated $20 to Junior Achievement.

Organizer Bianca Betschel said the event raised more than $800.

The funds will allow more students to participate in in-school and after-school business education programs in the Windsor-Essex area at the elementary and secondary levels this year.
