Windsor Police have seized 28 terabytes of computer data and have arrested three people after a child pornography bust in Windsor.

Earlier this week, police executed a number of warrants in the Windsor area after several months of investigation.

Over the course of three days, Windsor Police internet child exploitation officers seized a quantity of computers, hard drives, storage media, and DVD’s with an excess of 28 terabytes of data.

On Monday, police arrested 21-year-old Chris Metivier at a home in the 1000 block of Villaire and charged him with possessing child pornograhy, making available child pornography and accessing child pornography.

On Tuesday, police executed a warrant in the 3100 block of Church Street. James Piche, 29, was arrested and charged with three counts each of possessing child pornography and making available child pornography

Then on Wednesday, police executed a warrant in the 11000 block of Tecumseh Road East and arrested 44-year-old Pierre Arsenault. He was charged with two counts each of possessing child pornography and making available child pornography, and one count of accessing child pornography.

Windsor Police are reminding parents to monitor the online activity of their children and are encouraging the reporting of inappropriate online communication.
