The RCMP and Leamington OPP have seized a number of drugs and arrested several people after a bust at a convenience store.

On Wednesday, officers executed search warrants at the Erie Convenience store located at 91 Erie Street South in Leamington.

Police say their investigation began following information that illegal narcotics were being allegedly sold at the convenience store.

Two other search warrants were executed at residences on Emerson Street and Sturgeon Meadows in Leamington.

Police seized a quantity of fentanyl, oxycontin, cash, contraband tobacco as well as a 2000 Chrysler Intrepid and a 2005 GMC Envoy, and arrested four people.

Jimy al Ubeidi, 50, Manon Lalonde, 30, Sattar al Shibawi, 48, and Fahat Robiah, 56, each face several charges.
