A man walking home from a bar was jumped and robbed early this morning.

Windsor Police were dispatched to the 7200 block of Tecumseh Road East around 4:40am. The caller indicated that he was “jumped” by two suspects and that he was in the parking lot south of Winners.

Upon arrival, officers located a male laying on the pavement in the parking lot. The male had a visible bump on his forehead and an abrasion on his right elbow. He indicated that he was drinking at a bar where he had met two males. The three left the bar together and were walking. They cut through the parking lot in the 7200 block of Tecumseh Road East.

In the lot, the victim said the two males had turned on him. He indicated that his wallet and cash were taken during the altercation.

Police are asking anyone with information to call.
