LaSalle To Honour Super Bowl Champion

In February 2014, LaSalle resident Luke Willson was a member of the the Seattle Seahawks, the XLVIII Super Bowl Champions and this Saturday, the town is hosting a celebration in his honour.

Children and youth of all ages are invited to take part in activity stations at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex hosted by the LaSalle Department of Culture and Recreation, LaSalle Fire Service, LaSalle Police Service, LaSalle Stompers Soccer Club, LaSalle Vipers Hockey Club, Northstar Cheerleading Inc., Skate LaSalle, Windsor Minor Football Association, and Winstars Gymnastics.

Moving from station to station, participants will have the opportunity to try a new sport and spend the morning being active.

Luke will take part in the activities, and will sign autographs. Participants will also be invited to a free recreational skate and recreational swim at the Vollmer Complex from 10am to 1pm.
