The City of Windsor has lowered flags to half mast to pay tribute to three fallen RCMP Officers in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Constables David Ross, 32, Fabrice Georges Gevaudan, 45, and Douglas James Larche, 40, were shot and killed Wednesday night.

The alleged shooter, Justin Bourque, was arrested early Friday Morning.

“Police officers put their lives on the line every day for our safety,” said Mayor Eddie Francis. “This tragedy is a stark reminder of that. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of these fallen officers.”

Flags will remain at half mast at Windsor City Hall until the funerals for the three officers have been completed.
