General Motors has sold the old GM Transmission plant in Walkerville.
“While GM can confirm that the property has been sold, we cannot disclose any other information relative to the sale of the site,” GM’s communication manager Adria MacKenzie told windsoriteDOTca.
Jones Group, known for it’s demolition company Jones Demolition, has erected signs on the property with the company’s motto “Demolition is Progress.”
It’s unclear if the Jones Group is the new owner or if the plan for the site includes demolition.
Multiple requests for comment were not returned Thursday and Friday.
