There were no serious injuries after a two vehicle crash at Huron Church and Girardot caused one vehicle to flip onto its side, Thursday evening.

Firefighters and EMS were called around 7:30pm and found the occupants of both vehicles, a red Toyota pickup and a white Ford van, with non-serious injuries.

The Toyota had flipped onto its right side and came to a rest at the roadway entrance to Assumption High School.

The white van came to a rest in the intersection.

Police say the Toyota was travelling North on Huron Church Road in the curb lane and was about to turn right onto Girardot. The white van travelling behind the Toyota struck the rear of the vehicle causing it to flip onto its side.

Police charged the driver of the van with careless driving.
