Windsor Police are searching for two purse snatching suspects.

Police say that on Tuesday, at approximately 2:30pm a woman was dropped off by a Transit Windsor Bus at Sandwich Street and Brock Street.

After the woman left the bus, she was approached by two females. One female demanded the victim’s purse and both pulled at her purse and punched her in the face. The suspects took the purse and were last seen running towards Sandwich Street and Chippawa Street.

The victim did not require medical attention.

The purse is described as a large gold and red purse with a magnetic flap.

The first suspect is a white female, 5’7” tall, 160 lbs., with short black hair. She was wearing jeans, plain navy t-shirt and a possible hoop earring in her right ear.

The second is a white female, 5’6” tall, 140 lbs., small build, with a long curly pony tail. She was wearing baggy jogging pants, white t-shirt with an unknown drawing on it.
