This Monday starting at 12noon, music will flood downtown Windsor as students from throughout the Greater Essex County District School Board gather in Dieppe Park to express their appreciation for music education.
Massive Music Monday is part of a national movement sponsored by The Coalition for Music Education, to celebrate music in our schools by sharing it with their communities.
Hundreds of young musicians and singers will jam and perform in Festival Plaza, and will join with the rest of the nation for the movement’s theme song, Is Somebody Singing at 1pm. The School Board will also publicly debut its new theme song, Discover Me.
