KELCOM, headquartered right here in Windsor is celebrating its 45th year in business. The company serves Southern Ontario through 12 locations between Windsor and Toronto.

Technology has dramatically changed over the years, and KELCOM has been at the forefront as they first became available including Cellular, High Speed Internet Access, Digital 2-Way Radio Systems and 3D printing, among others.

“Providing innovative business and consumer solutions has always been KELCOM’s focus. In 1969 we started as a 2-way radio supplier to business clients. Our product and service offerings grew as technology continued to advance. This product portfolio expansion has supported our sustained growth and evolution as a company. Our goal is to stay at the forefront of innovation so that we continue bringing technology advancements and real-world business applications to enable our clients to stay one step ahead during these globally competitive times,” said Reiner Neumann, one of KELCOM’s founders.

KELCOM is one of the largest independently owned companies of its kind in Canada. As an award winning supplier of Motorola, Telus, Mitel, Konica-Minolta and Honeywell, among others, KELCOM has grown to almost 200 professionals within its six distinct business units. “We are proud that many of our people choose KELCOM as a career and we have been fortunate to have some who have retired from here after 35 years of loyal service to our clients. This has been one of our competitive advantages, as tenured employees help to foster long-term client relationships. We’re proud to have served Southern Ontario for these past 45 years, as we look to the future with customer focus,” says Wayne Wood, Vice-President KELCOM Mobility Solutions Division.

Manager of KELCOM Document Division, Len Colucci, says the company has made strong relationships in the communities they serve, and continues to give back. “We continue to support many worthy charitable endeavors every year. From sponsorship of minor league sports teams, to helping non-profits raise funds for medical research, KELCOM is actively supporting the communities that we operate in.”
