A Windsor woman is $50,000 richer after winning the top prize on an instant crossword lottery ticket.
Mary C. Meneguzzi is celebrating after she played the OLG’s Instant Quest for Gold Crossword.
“I was at home when I scratched the ticket and found out I won,” says Meneguzzi. “I went back to the same store where I bought it and said to the retailer and her husband who was visiting ‘Want to see something?’ and I showed them all of the zeros!”
The OLG says Meneguzzi previously won half a million dollars on Instant Classic Black.
“I’m dumbfounded that it happened again!” said the 66-year old retiree.
The winner plans to take her family out for breakfast on the weekend to celebrate. She also plans to help out her son and invest with her new-found wealth.
