One of the community rinks at the WFCU Centre could be named to honour a local fallen soldier pending council approval Monday night.

City administration is looking to name community rink two in memory of Corporal Andrew Grenon. Grenon died on September 3rd, 2008 while serving in Afghanistan.

He was just 23 years old.

The administration report to council says that by naming the rink after Corporal Grenon, they hope it will serve as a constant reminder to all those who attend events at the WFCU Centre of the service of our veterans.
