Lakeshore OPP are attempting to locate the owner of two dogs who were involved in an incident on April 20th.

The owner of a Chihuahua breed of dog was walking it in the Maidstone Conservation Area located at 1561 Lakeshore Road 206 on April 20th at approximately 1pm.

Two large dogs also in the area allegedly attacked the smaller dog resulting in its death.

Police are hoping to speak to the owner of the two larger dogs. The first large dog is described as a silver brindle Great Dane/ Pit-bull mix. The second is described as a black and brown German shepherd (possible mix).

Police say the woman who was accompanying the dogs identified herself as “Susan“ to the owner of the Chihuahua.

If you know the identity of the owner of the two dogs, you are asked to contact Lakeshore OPP Detachment Constable Paul Crilley at 519-728-1810.
